Grayson Allen will return for senior season at Duke

Junior guard Grayson Allen announced that he will return for his senior season with the Blue Devils, passing on an opportunity to enter the NBA Draft for the second straight season.

The 6-foot-5 Allen jointly made the announcement with coach Mike Krzyzewski in a school-released statement. Allen dealt with a nagging leg injury all season and a one game suspension for a repeat incident for tripping a player.

North Korea missile test: What is the DMZ?
On Friday, North Korea said the unsafe security situation was due to the "Trump administration's reckless military provocation". And he warned that any use of nuclear weapons by Pyongyang would be met with "an overwhelming and effective response".

While there has been no official announcement, it appears as though Duke's starting point guard will hold off on the National Basketball Association and return for at least one more season. "I'm a firm believer that when something feels right, you go with it". He was the third-leading scorer on the team this year. Last year Allen was the ACC preseason player of the year and should be in the mix again this season. Even though Kennard, Jayson Tatum and Harry Giles have declared for the NBA, Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones are graduating and Sean Obi and Chase Jeter are transferring, Allen is returning alongside sophomores Frank Jackson and Marques Bolden. Allen struggled to adjust to his new role as point guard and Duke never met its lofty expectations before falling to SC in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
