We can now add another phone to the list of 2017 flagships: the newly launched HTC U 11, offering some top-of-the-line specs and a new Edge Sense technology that lets you interact with the phone by squeezing the sides of the chassis. But going by the leaks that happened earlier, the smartphone is expected to feature either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.

The glass-cased device comes with a new feature called Edge Sense, which allows users to apply pressure to the sides of the phone to quickly launch various applications like the talk-to-text, email, camera, or virtual assistant functions.

The U11 also contains four microphones for recording in 360 degrees, with an Acoustic Focus feature that can be targeted in a specific direction by zooming on the target in the video.

Another unique aspect of the new U11 is that it has a 16 megapixel selfie camera at the front. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5GHz)), NFC, HTC Connect for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to compatible multi-room audio systems, TVs, portable speakers and home entertainment systems, Streaming media from the phone to compatible AirPlay, Chromecast, DLNA, and Miracast devices.
