Sean Spicer is interviewing his own replacement

Sean Spicer is searching for his own replacement as White House press secretary, according to Politico who cites two people with knowledge of the expected shakeup.

The White House has been looking at ways to improve on this front.

The strength of the system & positioning of two strong upper level high pressure areas will likely ultimately decide the path. An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is scheduled to investigate this system later today, if necessary.

Spicer's time at the White House briefing room podium in recent weeks has decreased amid rumors that Spicer would soon transition to a different role, with some suggesting the President was unhappy with Spicer's performance in the public-facing role. He also said that there may be an answer "by the end of this week" as to whether Trump has recordings of his conversations with fired FBI Director James Comey. Comey has said, "Lordy, I hope there are tapes". "If he can't come out and answer the questions and they're not going to do this on camera or audio, why are we even having these briefings or these gaggles in the first place?" "It feels like we're sort of slowly but but surely being dragged into what is a new normal in this country".

Politico reports that Spicer and Reince Priebus already has reached out to Laura Ingraham of Fox News for press secretary, and Daily Mail editor David Martosko for communications director. Spicer and his deputy, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, have been decreasing the number of press gaggles they hold and how long they stay at them, according to The Washington Post. "If they can't give us the answers to the questions on camera or where we can record the audio, they are basically pointless at this point".

As much as Oracle simply sailed its catamaran better as the comeback progressed, there was a defining moment at a news conference. Team NZ comfortably beat Oracle Team USA twice this morning and are one up in the series.

"Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I think that the White House for the United States of America should have these questions answered on camera so we can see what they're saying", he said.

"There are days that I'll decide that the president's voice should be the one that speaks and iterate his priorities", Spicer added.
