Kyle Lowry staying in Toronto for $100 million

Kyle Lowry is re-signing with the Toronto Raptors. If that is the case, one veteran big man on the market could become a target for the Heat: Serge Ibaka.

Sony to press vinyl for the first time since 1989

A report last week indicated teams may have been hesitant about signing the Congo native to a lucrative contract over questions about whether he was indeed 27 years old.

France Votes 'Onward!'; Macron's Party To Run Parliament
Macron who could hence endure strong civil opposition, especially to his labor and pension reforms", Manceaux added. The hard-left France Unbowed is also struggling to maintain the momentum it had during the presidential election.

What might surprise some, though, are the terms of the deal. An average of $21.66 million per year is a heck of a lot of money for a big man who doesn't move with almost the same explosiveness that he used to, neither possessing the same degree of shot-blocking tenacity or rebounding that he did during his earlier years in Oklahoma City. Locking Lowry into a four or five-year contract would have crunched the Raptors into cap hell over the next half-decade. Overall, it's a good deal for both sides. Without Lowry, Toronto's depth chart would have featured Cory Joseph and Delon Wright - two fine backups nowhere close to starters - as the club's go-to options. Ibaka and Lowry share the same agent and I would imagine Ujiri has at least worked out the framework of what a new deal would look like for Lowry. If this is also a sign that Lowry is staying (there are rumors of his own three-year deal), Toronto can definitely be happy. He's an unrestricted free agent now, but teams are questioning his value after he wasn't able to boost the Raptors into Eastern Conference contention.
