IOS 11 GM leaks LTE activated Apple Watch with new design

Sales of Apple's miracle product, the iPhone, were not growing as fast as they once had.

Samsung (SSNLF) is already taking pre-orders for its new flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 8, and while you may think it's dead-in-the-water simply because the Note 7 experienced the disaster of all smartphone disasters, you'd be wrong. In recent years, the speed at which iPhone sales have grown has slowed significantly, to the point of experiencing a decline in 2016.

The iOS 11 beta lets you try out new features but it also helps Apple improve the software ahead of the release later this month.

Spotify Teams Up With Hulu to Offer Streaming Entertainment Bundle
The two companies have started offering a "streaming entertainment bundle" for US college students at $4.99 a month. Spotify says that it verifies a student's enrollment status through the third-part service called SheerID.

The screen is expected to measure 5.8-inches, corner-to-corner with rounded corners. This gives the iPhone better white balancing as Apple moves to an organic light emitting diode (OLED) panel. But now, Apple will offer default Animated Emojis to use with the native applications right from the Keyboard. The launch event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theatre inside Apple's new campus in Cupertino.

Animojis take advantage of the iPhone 8's 3D face sensor capabilities to mimic your facial expressions, like a raised eyebrow or a smile, reports 9to5Mac.

The company will also reportedly reveal the Apple 4K and HDR TV box at the event, indicated Bloomberg's sources. This feature appears to be an enhancement on the iPhone's Portrait mode effect for creating dSLR-like shots using depth by simulating different lighting effects.

Intel's €1.06 billion antitrust fine to be revisited in European Union court
The European Court of Justice set aside an earlier judgment by a lower court which had dismissed Intel's appeal against the fine. Intel apparently made payments to Media-Saturn on the condition that it sell only computers containing Intel's x86 CPUs.

Apple has been riding high thanks to iPhone sales for just over 10 years now, but the company's dependence on the device could eventually become a problem.

Apple-centric site 9to5Mac is now going hands-on with the iOS 11 GM and the leaked software contains features that aren't available in the iOS 11 beta 10 for developers or iOS 10 beta 9 for those in the Beta Software Program.

The top-of-the-range iPhone, which is expected to ditch the home button to make way for more screen real-estate, replacing the fingerprint-powered Touch ID with a facial recognition alternative, has been referred to as "D22" in a leaked iOS 11 firmware build. If the revision is indeed small, you will likely not hear a word about it from Apple. Discovered by 9to5Mac, the leak indicates that the iPhone will include a new Portrait Lighting mode for producing DSLR-style images. You will see connected things and notifications in a whole new iOS 11.
