Pope Francis Calls Out Trump, Accuses Him of "Pro-Life" Hypocrisy

Pope Francis Calls Out Trump, Accuses Him of

According to an interview with Reuters, the Pope - who has criticized Trump's policies before - was asked by journalists aboard the papal plane returning from his overseas trip to Colombia about his reaction to the latest policy shift. "If it is so, I have the hope that it's re-thought, because I heard the president of the United States introduce himself as a "pro-life" man".

The program was announced in 2012 by President Obama and implemented by the Department of Homeland Security, in the memorandum "Exercising Prosecutorial Discretion with Respect to Individuals Who Came to the United States as Children".

"We can not be Christians who continually put up "do not enter" signs", Pope Francis said, because "the Church is not ours, she is God's".

Francis told reporters that it was important for young people to have roots, referring to the program's previous rulings that deferred deportations for those who arrived to the US before the age of sixteen.

Nadal battles Anderson in conflict of styles at US Open
Despite his poor career head-to-head record against the Spaniard, Anderson is determined to spoil Nadal's sweet 16 celebration. The 6ft 8in (2.03m) world number 32 Anderson will be a big underdog against Nadal, who will contest his 23rd major final.

The Pope's comments, while nicer and more reserved, aren't far off from the criticism Hollywood stars and liberal politicians have hurled at Trump over his decision to end DACA.

In other remarks, Francis said he approved of the Italian government's line on migrants and Libya. He spoke of the need young people have of roots, and noted that he had spoken about the importance of dialogue between young people and the elderly.

While conservatives like Paul Ryan have expressed reservations about Pope Francis, the Vatican's ambiguously progressive social-justice warrior in chief, their differences of opinion pale in comparison to the Pope's clashes with Donald Trump.

Since he began his campaign, Trump promised to be a pro-life president, earning him the support of many conservative evangelical Christians and pro-life groups. After he had answered eight questions, Greg Burke, director of the Vatican press office, told the pope it was time to sit down because the plane was approaching an area of turbulence.

Jimmy Nelson to miss remainder of 2017 season
Starting pitcher Chase Anderson contributed two runs of his own, while Jesus Aguilar added an RBI in the win for the Brew Crew. Their confidence and resilience has been strong all season, and there's no reason to believe that will change any time soon.

"I assure all of you of my prayers for each of the countries of Latin America, and in a special way for neighboring Venezuela", Francis said.

"A phrase from the Old Testament comes to me, from the Psalm: "Man is stupid". A POLITICO/ Morning Consult poll published the day of DACA's rescission, which surveyed 1,993 registered voters, found that 58 percent of American voters would like to see a pathway for DACA recipients to stay and become citizens after meeting certain requirements.

"Anyone who denies this must go to the scientists and ask", he said.

But he also shows you how far the supposedly religious conservatives in this country have strayed: they brandish the Bible and claim to be legislating in the name of God, then they throw out the pope at the first sign of criticism from the church. "They speak very clearly" - referring to experts who blame global warming on man-made activities.

Intel's €1.06 billion antitrust fine to be revisited in European Union court
The European Court of Justice set aside an earlier judgment by a lower court which had dismissed Intel's appeal against the fine. Intel apparently made payments to Media-Saturn on the condition that it sell only computers containing Intel's x86 CPUs.
