Sushma Swaraj To Address UN General Assembly On 23 September

Responding to Pakistan PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's charge of "atrocities" in Jammu and Kashmir, foreign minister Sushma Swaraj told the UN General Assembly that if Pakistan used its resources to stamp out terrorists in its territory the world would be rid of the scourge of terrorism.

He had also reiterated that Pakistan remains open to resuming a comprehensive dialogue with India to address all outstanding issues, especially Kashmir, and discuss measures to maintain peace and security.

"Her (Swaraj's) measured responses in spite of provocations speak volumes of her maturity and tenacity".

Swaraj said Pakistan is responsible for no bilateral talks and not India.

In fact, giving them a taste of their own medicine, India went to call Pakistan "Terroristan" due to its inability to curb anti-democratic and fringe elements.
