Killer Clown Cold Case: Lover Of Murder Victim's Husband Arrested

The balloons that had been handed to Marlene were traced back to a Publix supermarket near the apartment where Sheila lived ― an apartment where neighbors said they frequently saw Michael Warren.

A 54-year-old Virginia woman is finally behind bars almost 30 years after she allegedly dressed as a clown and shot her boyfriend's wife in the head in Florida - a case dubbed the "Killer Clown".

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that Sheila Keen Warren was arrested Tuesday in Washington County, Virginia, without incident.

Police initially eyed Warren's husband, Michael Warren, as the masterminder in his wife's death and that Sheila Keen, her maiden name, had a role in the killing as well.

Despite the killing taking place in 1990 in Florida, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office opened the investigation again as there was new DNA evidence.

Trump on firing Price for taxpayer-funded private jet use: 'We'll see'
The letter also accused Price of using insider information to trade healthcare stocks when he was a member of Congress. Price has taken as many as 24 private flights in the past few months, costing the government an estimated $300,000.

Investigators believe Keen-Warren was having an affair with the victim's husband, Michael Warren. Police say he was present when the 54-year-old woman was arrested; the two were apparently running a Tennessee restaurant together.

But cops did not have enough evidence to charge either Warren or Sheila. She then fatally shot her victim, who died in the hospital a few days later.

Marlene Warren had lost a son in a vehicle crash about two years before she died, according to the Bristol Herald Courier.

Officials said that Sheila Warren will be arraigned Wednesday in Washington County General District Court and she is being held pending extradition to Florida at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail.

Saudi Arabia to Allow Women to Drive, State Media
Last month, Saudi police arrested an Arab woman after video circulated showing her driving a auto in the Eastern Province. Many Saudi women rely on ride-sharing apps like Uber and Careem to take relish some freedom of movement.

Sheriff Fred Newman wouldn't comment on if Michael Warren is also a suspect.

In 2000, as DNA testing became more common, the Palm Beach sheriff's office hoped the orange fibers and brown hair found in the LeBaron would lead them to Marlene Warren's killer.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, two clerks at a costume store picked Keen out of a photo lineup saying she had bought a clown outfit two days earlier.

Michael Warren did serve several years in prison after he was convicted of grand theft, racketeering and odometer tampering, connected to the used auto business.

When Warren was first arrested on the odometer-tampering charges in 1991, sheriff's Detective Sgt. Lou Sessa told reporters the murder investigation would not be rushed.

Sushma Swaraj asked the United Nations not to see terrorism with "self-defeating and indeed meaningless nuance". Indian officials remained tight-lipped on the content of Swaraj's speech.
